7 Months Old

Carter is 7 months old today! Wow that went by way too fast-but i'm so grateful to be able to stay home with him & see the new things he learns & watch his cute personality change everyday...

• We've finally got the nap routine down-I can lay him down in his crib & finally his naps will last longer than 30 minutes, he'll usually nap for at least an hour which is wonderful :)
• He isn't trying to crawl at all, he is totally content with sitting up & playing with his toys or laying on the floor with them... Justin is always asking why can't he crawl yet-but I am grateful he still just sits in one spot :)


• Goes to bed around 7:30 (love it) & doesn't wake up until around 3- drinks his bottle & is back to sleep & sleeps until around 8 usually.
• We've been trying to get him on a breakfast, lunch, dinner schedule with his eating. He usually eats close to 2 cans of food a day along with some cereal.
• This is his new thing he loves to do whenever he sees his toys, food, or anything 'exciting' he goes "ohh"

• Loves to be teased & tickled. The rougher you are with him the harder he laughs & the more he loves it.
• Says 'dada' -which Justin absolutely loves of course


• Claps his hands (patty cake & yay)
• Likes to hang his head upside down-he'd do it for hours if we'd let him
• Gets his toes everytime you lay him down on his back or to get his bum changed

• He is always banging his toys on the table or together he loves the loud noises & thinks he is funny.
• Loves anything that makes noise or sings
• Likes to cuddle with his fleece blankies

We couldn't have asked for a better baby...We love you Carter! We look forward to each new milestone...
