Boating

(6/27/2012) We only got around to boating one time this year before all the dams & resevoirs pretty much dried up! Its been a crazy summer with my brother building, us moving & my dad doing all of our finishing touches for us :) All the grandkids LOVED boating. This was Tenley's first year of actually being into it. She wasn't so sure about the tube at first until she realised the older kids were jumping & being crazy, & then she of course thought she mine as well try doing the same! She swam with me in the water for a minute, but I don't blame kids for not liking life jackets, they aren't the comfiest things when you don't realise why you even need one. We got Carter up on the knee board with me. I really think he would be able to do it himself but he is VERY {very is an understatement} timid around water (even after swimming at pre-school) so we didn't push him trying it by himself- Once he got up with me, he realised how fun it is though! Maybe next year he will try it by himself, I don't think Dac or Tay even tried it until they were at least 8 even though they think Carter is a chicken-haha! Justin had to stay home because someone was coming to look at our house, so he missed out on all the fun! It was just me, my mom & dad & the 4 grandkids! Party!! :)

 We look forward to next years boating & Carter knee boarding all on his own!!!
