July 11th-13th we went camping up Warm River in Idaho with Justin's family. It was soooo pretty up there & such nice weather. Our camp site was on a dead end & paved road, not close to the river. so we didn't have to worry about the kids. Right when we got there, the kids were off on their bikes & we went fishing! There was a little deck type thing with a ramp that came out onto the water. So the kids would ride their bikes up & down the road & ramp while we fished!
The next day we road up to the Mesa Falls & stopped at the Teton Mountain Range, the upper & lower falls.

So amazingly pretty, I didn't know how the upper falls could beat that! It was nice because all of the sites were only a few miles from camp , so it wasn't a long ride in the car for the kids.
This picture makes me laugh SO hard. This is our family at the upper falls. See how Carter has a death grip around Justin's neck- he was terrified that he was going to fall. {it is a long ways down there, I can't really blame him}

| Daddy spent a lot of the day giving Tenley a shoulder ride! |
At the upper Mesa falls there is this cool museum with lots of taxidermy stuff, bugs, pretty much everything animal wise you can think of...

It was SO pretty!! We went back again the next day with Ricky, Nicole & their kids!

We spent alot of the next day floating the river. The river was like knee deep so it was perfect for the kids, Shae & Carter ended up floating by themselves a lot of the time. We would float down under the bridge & then walk back. We did this nearly all day & took turns taking the kids floating with us.

I think Carter & Shae would have floated all day, if it was up to them...There was this river that was blocked off, with a sign that said no wadding & no fishing. There were huge fish in it, it was fun to throw bread in & watch them all come up to the top of the water, they were huge!

| love these 2! |

One night the kids all sat around the fire & told "scary" stories, I must say some of their stories were pretty entertaining.

I was nervous about roughing it in the tent, since we were in like bear ville. One night I could have sworn there was a bear at camp, I woke up all freaked out & Justin got up & it was a skunk destroying our camp site :) So I was glad we survived :) We had such a fun time up there, it was so pretty & such a fun camping trip, the kids did not want to leave.
 |
| All packed up, on the ride home |
The ride up & home wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. It only took like 2 1/2 hours & the kids slept part of the way there & the whole way home!! It is definitely a camp site that would be worth going back!!
